The best investment project of December 2020
According to “Invest Foresight” magazine, Middle Distillate Hydrotreatment Unit at Refinery and Petrochemical Plants Complex of JSC TANECO was awarded the title of the best investment project of December 2020.
Capital investments in three-year-construction of the Unit amounted to 16.1 billion rubles.
OOO ONH-Holding as EPC Contractor, was in charge of the Unit construction; the design work was carried out by OOO Orgneftekhimproekt, a part of OOO ONH-Holding Group of Companies.
The Middle Distillate Hydrotreatment Unit (MDHU) is designed for annual processing of 3.7 million tons of feedstock supplied from CDU/VDU-6. These are straight-run kerosene, diesel oil, cracked distillate cuts.
The commissioning of MDHU will ramp up annual production of Euro-6 diesel fuel oil from 4 to 7.6 million tons. Jet fuel production will be increased by 350 thousand tons - up to 1 million tons per year. Besides the Unit produces naphtha (petrochemical feedstock).
95% of high-tech equipment is manufactured in Russia. It is making a considerable contribution to the development of Tatarstan and Russia economy, as well as synergetic effect for the regional economy.
