Innopolis SEZ Supervisory Board Approved Orgneftkhim IT Project
Apr. 22, 2020 Rustam Minnikhanov, the Tatarstan Republic President, chaired the first in this year meeting of Innopolis SEZ (Kazan) Supervisory Board.
The event was held via videoconference connection due to coronavirus pandemic. The first speaker of the Supervisory Board meeting was Alexander Babynin, the General Director of Orgneftekhim-Holding.
Total investment amount announced by potential resident companies & partners has been estimated as RUB 7.7bln.
Eight companies have already applied for the status of Special Economic Zone (SEZ) residence. Orgneftkhim-Holding & Orgneftkhim IT companies group’s project anticipates software development & product assistance that can be beneficial for such application areas as industrial engineering & packaged construction. As for potential customers, this project is supposed to attract large-scale companies of petrochemical industry & oil & gas refineries as well as construction companies & design institutes.
“A number of high volume petrochemical facilities have been operating currently within the territory of our Republic. Besides, we have gained a great experience while implementing Taneco project. Each year we continue to launch new facilities with their number ranging from 4 to 5. The sustained efforts have been paid to delayed cocking process which is still under way. So, this will be a good competence for Innopolis, to my mind. And the managing company available to implement grass root and ambitious projects involving the best global & domestic professionals should be supported,” concluded Rustam Minnekhanov.
Fresh capital injections & new project realization were also in the focus of Rustam Minnikhanov’s attention setting the priorities of today reality against the challenges of present days. “It is essential not only to keep but also to accelerate the rate of our growth”, said the President of Tatarstan.
